杜易简，襄州襄阳人。九岁能屬文，及长，博学有高名，姨兄岑文本推重之。登进士第，累转殿中侍御史。咸亨中，为考功员外郎，坐黨裴行儉，左迁开州司马。集二十卷，存诗二首。
